Manager and Administrator Command Guide

Type / in Discord to search for a command. Discord only shows commands your account is allowed to use. Manager commands belong in the configured private manager channel; administration commands can be used in an appropriate private channel.

Plain-language reference · Mobile friendly
Routine Setup Advanced or caution Destructive Operator only

For routine work, use the buttons first

Most daily manager work does not require a slash command. Staff onboarding decisions, claim approval or denial, undoing an approved swap, creating staffing needs, and closing unused openings use the buttons already posted in the private manager channels.

If a command does not appear, ask the business Administrator. Do not change server permissions just to make a command visible. Anyone can use /help_center for the same private directions shown by the visible Help Center button.

Managers: buttons first

Manager Home handles everyday approvals, staffing needs, and cancellations. Most Managers need only the guide shortcut below.

/command_guide
ManagerAdministrator

Privately returns an Open Command Guide button. It changes no roles, channels, settings, or permissions.

Use in: any channel where bot commands are allowed; only you see the response.

Less-common Manager commands 3 commands
/setup_staffing_tools
Repair

Repairs Manager Home only when its normal panel is missing. Routine work does not require this command.

Use in: the location's configured private manager channel.

/post
AdvancedAdministrator-visible

Manually posts one open shift and can notify the appropriate location or position role.

Use in: the configured private manager channel. Discord shows this to Administrators by default unless the server changes command permissions.

/assign
AdvancedAdministrator-visible

Directly assigns an active shift to a person. It records the approval and sends any configured notifications, calendar file, and Slack update.

Use in: the configured private manager channel, only after checking the official schedule. Discord shows this to Administrators by default unless the server changes command permissions.

Administrators: start here

/setup_businessRoutine

Opens the guided setup dashboard and shows what is required, optional, and already complete.

Advanced reference

/delete_business_dataDestructive

Permanently deletes the stored configuration, ledgers, and encrypted backups for the business. It leaves Discord channels and roles in place. Export first and use the exact confirmation requested.

Service operator only 2 commands
/set_business_licenseOperator only

Changes a business subscription state from the operator's private control route. Business Administrators do not need this command.

/setup_uptime_alertsOperator only

Connects private uptime alerts in the operator support server, not in a business server.

Older maintenance commands

!sync, !setup, and !setup_onboarding remain for maintenance and compatibility. Normal business users should use the guided slash commands.

Use care with !purge: it deletes recent messages from the channel where it is run. Most businesses should not need it.

Use commands safely

Never paste passwords, Discord bot tokens, client secrets, webhook URLs, payment-card data, medical information, or confidential employee records into a Discord channel. Sensitive bot forms open privately and public guide pages never display business records.
